The ownership history is unknown prior to 1982. This piece was found near Yuma, Arizona by archaeologist, Boma Johnson. He attributed the piece to either the Mojave or Cocopah tribes. This is not confirmed. This stone axe head is a must-have for anyone who appreciates the beauty and history of Native American artifacts.
