I think the overlay is silk, but due to the age there’s of course no fabric content. There is acetate lining and some tulle underneath for a little oomph, but you could add more tulle if you wanted. Back zip closure. These dresses sell for hundreds of dollars, but I have knocked off a little bit from the price for dry cleaning. There is some yellowing and some dirt patches near the hem in the back including two very small holes in the overlay that don’t go all the way through. I recommend having this dress professionally cleaned. Laying flat measures 44 inches shoulder to hem, 12.5 inches straight across the waist and 16 inches armpit hit with front seams to accommodate cup size. It is featured on my size small dress form where it fits well. The tag size in this piece says 10, but that is vintage sizing so please double check measurements to ensure the proper fit for you.
