Wonderful Hoosier Coffee Jar, this jar is known as a Napanee style ribbed jar with a raised letter label. Napanee canisters were sold exclusively with Napanee Kitchen Cabinets.This jar dates pre 1910s and has the original screw on lid, jar has bubbles, lines and sand spots in the glass which was very common in this era. Jar hold one pound of coffee beans.Photo next to drinking glass for color reference. This early american glass had manganese added to purify the glass. Over time, this glass develops a beautiful lavender hue.Circa, 1910sMarked, CoffeeMeasures, 7” tall, 4” square at base.Condition, wonderful condition with normal wear, only a couple tiny flea bite chips on rims.
